A grand reunion

A lively ceilidh for Kerrie and Grant’s wedding party near Dorchester last Saturday; it didn’t take long for the band to realise there were a lot of familiar faces – including the bride and groom.  We had played for Nina and Ross’s wedding barn-dance in 2015 at Daccombe near Torquay and they were the same group of friends.  Recommendation is always reassuring that we are getting it right!  In the picture, Kerrie and Grant demonstrate ( with our callers help ) the ‘Gay Gordon’s for the first dance which they led.  Grant, a Shetlander, and all his family were good dancers and needed little instruction – our caller, Joan enjoyed herself!
